Hearts was a remake of a love song I wrote back in 1987 named “Broken Heart” as a young adult. Years later I found it in a stack of old music I had written. The lyrics were no longer relevant, but I remembered how much I loved the music. I quickly reworked the lyrics to add a melody line on cello, all the while being grateful for my young broken heart, as I recognize now that the time in my life proved to a time where I learned from my many mistakes and failures. It brought me where I am today: with a heart full of gratitude and music.
The melody would be PERFECT for a graduation ceremony!!!!!!!!! Love this! Broken Hearts make for the best creativity!

THis song had lyrics that Kati wrote and sent to me in the mail when I was 18 years old….I wrote the music for it! Years later, I remixed the music (the words were all about broken hearts:) and rewrote my part. I totally forgot that until Kati reminded me we did it through the mail….her as a nanny inCT and me in my senior year of high school!
CD should be done in 2 weeks!!!! YAY!
